Alleged Anti-Party Activities: PDP Summons Nyesom Wike

The Disciplinary Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has summoned Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, over alleged anti-party activities.

This development was confirmed on Monday by the party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Ibrahim Abdullahi.

The FCT Minister has been issued a formal letter requesting his presence before the committee over a controversial remarks made by him.

Wike was quoted as saying he will “put fire in states,” a statement perceived as a threat directed at PDP governors.

Abdullahi described Wike’s comments as “very disappointing” and said that they do not reflect the party’s stance.
