In a video circulating on social media, Fatai Odunsi, father of popular Nigerian singer Asake, has publicly appealed for financial assistance following his battle with a partial stroke.

Odunsi said that his son had abandoned him since he fell ill in March 2022.

He claimed that despite multiple efforts to reach Asake, he had received no response.

“The last time I set my eyes on him was March 2022 when my sickness started. If I called Asake, he won’t pick. Please help me, it is your help that I need,” he said.
