Erdogan Condemns Israel's Strikes on Iran

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan strongly condemned Israel’s airstrikes on Iran, denouncing the escalation and calling for restraint.

Erdogan disclosed this in a post on X on Friday, in response to the attack.

The post reads: “Israel has taken its strategy of bloodshed and instability to a dangerous new level with this morning’s attack.

The strikes on our neighbor Iran are a clear provocation and a blatant violation of international law.

At a time when nuclear talks are intensifying and pressure is mounting over Israel’s actions in Gaza, these attacks expose its disregard for global norms.

Netanyahu’s reckless and unlawful behavior is dragging the region and the world towards disaster.

The international community must stop Israel’s aggression, which threatens both regional and global stability.

We once again declare: we do not want more blood, destruction, or war in the Middle East.

As Türkiye, we strongly condemn the attacks on Iran, offer condolences to the Iranian people, and wish a swift recovery to the wounded.”
