JUST IN: Dangote Reduces Petrol Price to N865 Per Litre

A significant cut has been announced by Dangote Refinery in its ex-gantry petrol loading price, reducing it from N880 to N865 per litre, representing a N15 decrease.

According to a report by The Punch on Thursday, this move is expected to have a considerable effect on fuel prices across the country.

Dangote Refinery promptly informed marketers and customers of the price change, sending out official notifications early Thursday morning.

Sources have confirmed the new pricing, supported by a Pro forma invoice and verification from petroleumprice.ng.

This unexpected move comes shortly after industry insiders suggested a potential price reduction, with the refinery’s 650,000 barrels per day facility anticipated to lower its petrol loading costs by week’s end.
