Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Handed Six-month Suspension by Senate

Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP-Kogi) has been suspended by the Senate on Thursday for a “total violation of the Senate Standing Rules 2023 as amended.”

The suspension was announced during plenary after the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions, chaired by Sen. Neda Imaseun, presented its recommendations. 

The lawmakers unanimously approved the recommendations through a voice vote, resulting in a six-month suspension for Senator Natasha.
