Ukrainian Drone Attacks Wound Three, Spark Fire in Russian Regions

Ukrainian drone strikes targeted Russia’s Belgorod and Volgograd regions overnight, leaving a trail of damage and injuries.
In Belgorod, near the border, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on Telegram that three people were hospitalized following attacks that damaged several structures, including the regional administration building.
In Volgograd, further south, Governor Andrei Bocharov said debris from a downed drone triggered a fire and a leak at an oil refinery. Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed it intercepted 44 Ukrainian drones during the assault.
The strikes are part of Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to counter Russia’s invasion, now in its fourth year, by targeting strategic sites deep within Russian territory.
