The Nigerian Youths for Atiku (NYFA), a support group of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has stated that only God can stop Atiku from contesting and winning the\u00a0 2027 presidential election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was disclosed in a statement by the Director of Publicity of NYFA, Mr Dare Dada, on Tuesday in Lagos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that NYFA on Saturday, in Ekiti State, met with the leaderships of some other support groups, drawn from over 28 states of the federation, to begin a strategic movement towards the next election.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOnly God can stop Atiku\u2019s emergence as the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2027,\u201d the NYFA spokesman said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dada said the forum had high hope that Abubakar would emerge president to give Nigeria the deserved governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe APC-led government has not done well in assuaging the sufferings of the masses,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that the forum would mobilise the youth en masse to vote Abubakar in the 2027 general elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eulogising Abubakar\u2019s virtues , Dada said Abubakar was a philanthropist par excellence and that, apart from being a politician ,the former Vice-President was also an entrepreneur and great employer of labour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt is not enough to amass wealth for electoral purposes but one\u2019s impact must be felt and seen through constant investment in human capital development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis to a large extent complements government\u2019s provision of jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAtiku has a penchant for human capital development; he has demonstrated this in his private life and even as Vice- President when he facilitated the emergence of world- class technocrats to serve during Obasanjo\u2019s tenure.\u201dhe said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
